Getting around
The metro is the fastest and cheapest way across the centre; Yandex Go taxis are widely used, see the Yandex Go guide and the metro guide. From Tashkent, the Afrosiyob train to Samarkand takes about 2 hours.
Many Tashkent museums are closed on Mondays, so plan museums for Tuesday to Sunday. See Tashkent in one day.
