What it can do

  • Answer questions about sights, food, transport, money, visas and customs, in the traveller's own language.
  • Plan a day: a timed route with meals at the right hours; mark places as visited or skipped and get a plan for tomorrow or for the rest of today.
  • Find places nearby: restaurants, cafés, sights and hotels around you, with a map.
  • Recognise a photo of a building, a dish or a sign and explain what it is.
  • Phrasebook: ready Uzbek phrases with audio, plus any phrase in your own words.
  • Work offline for saved chats, the current plan, phrases and tips.

How the answers are made

UzGidAI uses a large language model (Google Gemini) together with a curated set of local facts maintained by the team in Tashkent: opening hours, ticket prices, transport rules and recommended places. For prices, timetables and anything that changes, the guide searches the web before answering. Map data for places nearby comes from 2GIS and Google Maps.

Like any AI, it can make mistakes. Prices and rules in Uzbekistan change, so check important details such as visa rules or train times with the official source before you rely on them.

Privacy

There is no account: no name, e-mail or phone number is asked for. Chats and plans are stored in your own browser. Questions are logged without personal data to improve the answers.

Travel guides

Besides the AI guide, UzGidAI publishes free practical guides with 2026 prices and sources: all travel guides, for example Uzbekistan in 7 days, how much a trip costs and the best time to visit.
